Delivery Information

The customer is responsible to contact the planning department, building inspector, homeowners association or city/county regarding permits PRIOR to purchasing or ordering a building.

It is the customer’s responsibility to acquire any permits necessary from their city or county. 

Graceland does not require customers to have a permit, but it is recommended if needed for your location,

Graceland Portable Buildings is not responsible for covenant searches, land use searches, restrictions, damage to a yard or anything underground.

Our Professional Delivery Technicians are trained in shed delivery and will use specialized equipment to transport and place your building. 

We require a safe and accessible place to park our truck/trailer combination.

Our drivers are not allowed to park on busy roads and block traffic.

Build Orders...Delivery is FREE within 50 miles of ANY Graceland dealer.

On-Lot Buildings...Delivery is FREE within 50 miles of the display lot the building is purchased from, including pilot cars.

Delivery is available for an additional charge for up to an additional 50 miles only. Prices for additional miles vary by building size and delivery address.

The path to the desired location MUST have at least two, but preferably four feet of clearance to maneuver the building through (from the main road all the way back to the desired location of the building.

Our buildings are delivered with small wheels under one end and the hydraulic mule at the other end.

We cannot go up and over ledges, ditches, retaining walls and/or gates/fences.

Desired location should be clearly accessible, level and property should be dry and hard. 

Desired building location should be clear of debris, fences/gates, low hanging limbs and wires, eaves, awnings, or other obstacles.

Delivery Technician is not responsible for removal of trees, limbs, fencing, etc.

ALL land prep must be completed PRIOR to our Delivery Technician arriving. 

Your Delivery Technician will have access to pressure treated lumber that can be used to level the building. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide 8”x16”x4” concrete blocking if needed for set-up. 

Blocks are recommended but not required. 

Please have them close by, but DO NOT set them prior to the arrival of the building.

We recommend 8" x 4" x 16" solid concrete pavers. The number of recommended pavers will be discussed at the time of purchase.

A minimum of 5’ to 6’ around the building is required on both short walls AND at least one long wall for us to move your building into place with our hydraulic mule. 

This will also allow for repairs that may need to take place in the future. If a repairman cannot access to repair a building, we reserve the right to refuse service.  

We cannot deliver the building without adequate access and the delivery technician is unable to push a building into place. This may compromise the safety of our technician, cause damage to the equipment or building and also affect the level and set of your building. 

If our equipment cannot access the site safely, we cannot complete the delivery. 

We allot 2 hours for installation. There will be a charge of $50/hour if the delivery is extensive and goes beyond this time. 

This happens often when a custoner wants their building set higher that the normal one level of blocks or is not ready when the building arrives.

These funds will be payable directly to the driver for his/her time at the time of delivery before the driver leaves.

You as the property owner/tenant, and our customer are 100% responsible for making sure the access and site are adequate for delivery. 

Recommendations may be made by the salesperson as a courtesy, but this in no way absolves you of the sole responsibility.
